Well, as you can see from the time of my post last night, I didn't manage to get much sleep. I think I finally dozed off somewhere around 4:30 am. Then I woke up around 9:00. Thinking about it, it wasn't too bad, but doing that every night (or usually getting even less than four hours) for a few nights in a row really starts to wear on you.
I went into work at 11:00am, and walked into a decent volume of customers. I was hoping that it wouldn't be as busy as projected, and I was somewhat satisfied when I arrived. However, a few hours into my shift, it began to get extremely hectic. I tried to keep myself busy, mostly running out backstock to the shelves, but I'm paying the price now. I was bent over most of the day to put stuff away, much more than normal, and my back is screaming at the moment. I'm definitely not enjoying this pain in the least bit.
Anyways, I saw my "love interest" as soon as I walked into work, which was nice. It's a bit of a complicated situation, but I would have loved to bring her out for Valentine's Day. It's been a very long time since I had a "valentine", and she's the perfect one for me. Oh well, maybe next year. It doesn't really bother me, but it would have been nice.
I have to work the next two days at 8:00 am, which means I should try to start winding down whatever I'm doing by midnight, and try to get a good six or seven (yeah right) hours of sleep for the next few days. I have off Wednesday, so that's definitely going to be my "crash day".
Well, I will get on a topic or something tomorrow. I know reading about my dumb, repetitive days isn't exactly thrilling. So, until tomorrow!
