Rather than read over what my last post was, I'm just going to go over an update of my past few weeks, regardless of if I mentioned it before or not. So, with that disclaimer, I shall continue:
I'm still working where I have been, The Fresh Market. I started working the grocery department in January, along with Tim and Eric. About a month ago, Tim quit to work another job, and Eric transferred to the seafood department because his schedule didn't allow him to be effective in the grocery position he held. Another kid, Bobby, was hired. He worked there for about four weeks, and one of my managers just kept pushing his buttons until he quit about two weeks ago.
That being said, I am now the only person in my department. Last week, between grocery and dairy (both mine), the store did just about $40,000 in sales. And that was with me being the only person running the department. That's somewhat crazy. Actually, let me retract that, that is beyond crazy.
This week, Eric has been helping me a little bit when he can get out of his department, which is great for me. We get a lot of work done when we do it together. But, this is temporary, and he won't be helping me this coming week. I heard that we are hiring somebody to start soon, but whatever. And also, Jeff is going to be the new manager of my department. I have mixed feelings about that as well. I'll write more about it probably tomorrow, as this isn't intended to be too in depth.
Well, enough about work. I'm there at least six days a week, averaging 50 hours a week over these past three weeks, so I need a break, but I don't see it coming soon. The least I can do is not overexert myself talking about it on the internet when I'm not even there.
So, the bigger news is... I have fallen pretty hard for a very special girl. Her name is Ann, and she works in the same shopping center as I do. She is by far the sweetest girl I've ever met. She's beautiful, funny, likes to have fun, but also likes to just kick back and relax with me. She's everything I've ever wanted. There is a slight complication to this matter, but not enough to make me feel any less in love with her. I suppose I will probably write about that in the days to come as well. I'm going to devote quite some time to this particular subject, considering I can't even try to stop thinking about her. She's on my mind all day and all night. I even have dreams with her in them! I like those...
So, that's a brief look at the past couple weeks. I just saw Riley, whom I haven't seen since Christmas, and before then even longer. He stopped by with his new girl, and then Ilia stopped by after work to say hi. I had a long day, and only slept for about 90 minutes last night. I don't have to leave for work for about another 9 hours, so I'm going to try to get as much sleep as I possibly can.
I'm pretty sure that I will be updating more details of everything tomorrow. But as for now, I'm signing off. Goodnight, nobody!
